PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 


IT and Community Media Director, City of Waupaca, Waupaca, WI  8/11 – Current

·         Responsible for oversight and decision making in the city’s technology department including leadership of the staff and management of the department budget

·         Support all IT needs including computers, servers, networks, security, e-mail, phone systems, mobile devices, security camera systems, door access control and disaster recovery planning

·         Manage city’s community media program including websites, social media, CodeRED emergency communication, digital signage, cable TV and FM radio station

·         Administrative oversight of city-operated fixed wireless ISP, including grant administration, legal issues and providing resources for my staff to meet the goals of the operation

·         Maintain all IT and networking equipment, ensure operation of radio station on air broadcast systems and online audio streaming; build and maintain station websites

·         Design, setup and maintain studio and technical equipment for radio station operations


Station Manager/Webmaster, 90.3 WRST-FM, Oshkosh, WI  9/03 – 5/07

·            Define and submit yearly budget; primary decision maker in regard to station spending

·            Guide, train and supervise on and off air station staff with respect to station and university policy

·            Maintain legal and technical operation of the station

·            Created and maintained the station website and established the station’s streaming server and webcasting service
