Oldies return to the Milwaukee Market
When 1540 WTKM signs on the air today listeners will find a new format instead of a simulcast of their FM sister and it's Polka format. 1540 WTKM will be doing an oldies format as "Crusin' 1540, Good Time Rock n' Roll." WTKM-AM will be bringing back the oldies format to the northern portion of the Milwaukee market which has been lacking an oldies format since WOKY went Classic Country and WRIT went mostly 70's-80's. It should be noted that no changes are planned at 104.9 WTKM-FM which will retain it's Full Service Polka and Classic Country format.
